June 11, 2012:
I took Elder Scott to the Blacksmith Shop this morning and drove around to Water Street, which goes along the Mississippi River. I saw this bigger turtle by the side of the road and stopped. I didn't have my camera so I came to the house and got it and took some pictures. She is digging a hole to lay eggs in. I didn't realize it until I started taking pictures. It would be cool if I could watch the babies come out of there when they hatch and head for the water. Not likely though.
